This chukandar (beetroot) juice recipe blends beetroot, apple, celery, and ginger into a refreshing, heart-healthy drink. It’s naturally sweet, packed with nutrients, and perfect for glowing skin or supporting blood pressure — all with that Frankie-style home touch.

Ingredients

1 small red beetroot

1 large apple (or 2 small apples)

2 celery stalks

1-2 carrots

½ lemon or lime

½ inch piece of ginger, peeled

Instructions

  1. Wash all vegetables and fruits under running water and pat dry.
  2. Peel the beetroot and carrots, cut everything into long chunks.
  3. Remove the core from the apple and slice.
  4. Juice all ingredients except lemon, alternating as you go.
  5. Squeeze in lemon juice and stir well.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Go with a sweet apple for a smoother taste, but any variety works.
  • Organic? You don’t even gotta peel ‘em. Just rinse well.
  • Got no juicer? A high-speed blender and a fine mesh strainer will do just fine.
  • Always drink beet juice fresh. It loses that zing if it sits too long.
