Add this chia seed water into your routine, and you'll be feeling as good as ever with its many health benefits and refreshing flavor!

Ingredients

3 cups water

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 lemon (half juiced, half sliced)

Instructions

  1. Juice half the lemon (about 1 1/2 tablespoons) and slice the other half.
  2. In a mason jar or large glass, add the water, chia seeds, lemon juice, and lemon slices.
  3. Stir well or shake (if using a jar with a lid).
  4. Let sit for 15 minutes so the chia seeds plump up.
  5. Stir again before drinking, and enjoy!

Notes

  • I like using a mason jar β€” it's got room to shake and stores well in the fridge.
  • You can prep it ahead and keep it chilled up to 5 days. Just give it a shake each time.
  • If you're new to chia, maybe start with 1/2 tablespoon to see how your stomach handles it.
  • Try cucumber or strawberry slices for a twist!
