Made in just 5 minutes, this frozen strawberry margarita is sweet, tangy, and perfect for summer. With frozen strawberries, tequila, lime juice, and a splash of orange liqueur, it's a drink that brings backyard fiesta vibes straight to your kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound frozen whole strawberries

ΒΎ cup tequila (Blanco or Reposado)

Β½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice

ΒΌ cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau)

β…“ cup honey or sweetener (adjust to taste)

Margarita salt, for rimming glasses

Lime wedges and fresh strawberries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of each glass, then dip the rim into margarita salt. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and honey.
  3. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness or alcohol level if needed.
  4. Pour into the prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge or fresh strawberry.

Notes

  • Fresh lime juice is non-negotiable. Trust me.
  • If you want a thicker, slushier drink, toss in a handful or two of ice.
  • No blender? Use fresh strawberries, mash 'em up, and shake the rest with ice.
  • This mix stores great in the freezer. Just give it a good stir before round two.
  • Drop a comment and lemme know how your batch turned outβ€”I wanna hear your backyard stories!
