قصة الحسناء والوحش – Beauty and the Beast
Once, a merchant was on a journey when he got caught in a storm then he took shelter in a deserted castle.
في أحد الأيام، علق تاجر في عاصفة خلال رحلته، واحتمى داخل قلعة مهجورة.
He saw a beautiful rose in the garden of the castle and when he plucked it, a horrible Beast came out of the castle.
رأى داخل حديقتها زهرة جميلة، وعندما قطفها خرج وحش مرعب من القلعة.
The Beast growled at the man for stealing. The scared man told him it was a present for his daughter, Beauty.
زأر الوحش بالرجل لسرقته الزهرة. قال الرجل بخوف إنها هدية لابنته الحسناء.
The Beast allowed the man to take the flower in exchange for his daughter living in the castle with him forever.
سمح الوحش للرجل أن يأخذ الزهرة لابنته مقابل أن تعيش ابنته في القلعة مع الوحش إلى الأبد.
Beauty agreed to live in the castle because she loved her father and didn’t want him to be punished.
وافقت الحسناء على العيش داخل القلعة لأنها أحبت أباها ولم ترد له أن ينال عقاباً.
Beauty and the Beast became good friends; the Beast was kind to her.
أصبحت الحسناء والوحش صديقين جيدين، وعاملها الوحش بلطف.
One day, her father got sick and Beauty wanted to take care of him.
ذات يوم، أرادت الحسناء الاعتناء بأبيها الذي مرض.
The Beast told her she could go only if she returned after seven days.
سمح لها الوحش بالذهاب بشرط أن تعود بعد سبعة أيام.
When Beauty came back home, she was so happy to meet her family again that she forgot about her promise to the Beast.
سعدت الحسناء كثيراً عندما عادت إلى منزلها إلى درجة أنها نسيت وعدها للوحش.
One night, she had a nightmare about the Beast, he was dying and he called her name and asked her for help.
ذات ليلة، رأت الحسناء كابوساً عن الوحش. كان الوحش على شفا الموت، وكان يناديها ويطلب مساعدتها.
Beauty returned to the castle and saw her nightmare becoming true. The Beast was dying.
عادت الحسناء إلى القلعة ورأت أن كابوسها قد أصبح حقيقة، لقد كان الوحش على وشك الموت.
She cried at his bedside and apologized for leaving him alone, as her tears fell on his face, the Beast changed into a handsome prince.
بكت بجانبه وتأسفت على تركها له وحيداً، وعندما لمست دموعها وجهه تحول الوحش إلى أمير جميل.
He told her that he was under a curse from an evil witch and it could only be broken by true love.
قال الأمير لها بأنه كان واقعاً تحت لعنة ساحرة شريرة لن يكسرها إلا حب حقيقي.
Beauty accepted the prince’s proposal for marriage and they lived in the castle happily ever after.
قبلت الحسناء بالأمير كزوج لها، وعاشا في القلعة بسعادة وهناء.
