In a land far away, lived a poor farmer and his wife in a house near a garden owned by an evil witch. They were waiting for their child to be born.

في أرض بعيدة، عاش مزارع فقير وزوجته في منزل بالقرب من حديقة تملكها ساحرة شريرة، وكانا ينتظران ولادة طفلتهما.

The woman wanted to eat some fruit. Her husband climbed over the garden’s wall to bring her some.

أرادت المرأة أن تأكل بعض الفاكهة فتسلق زوجها جدار الحديقة ليحضر لها بعضاً منها.

.The witch caught him and told him if he wanted to keep his life, he had to give her his child

قبضت عليه الساحرة، وأخبرته أنه إذا أراد أن يحافظ على حياته فعليه أن يعطيها طفلته.

The woman gave birth to a little girl and the witch took her away and named her Rapunzel. She locked her in a high tower.

أنجبت المرأة طفلة صغيرة، وأخذتها الساحرة بعيداً، وسمتها ربانزل، وحبستها في برج عالٍ.

A prince heard Rapunzel sing one day and called out for her. He climbed up her hair. When he saw her, they fell in love.

سمع أمير ربانزل تغني ذات يوم، ونادى عليها ثم تسلق شعرها، وحالما رآها وقعا في الحب.

The witch found out and cut Rapunzel’s hair. The next time the prince came to the tower, the witch was there. The prince fought her and killed her and took Rapunzel to his palace where they got married and lived happily ever after.

اكتشفت الساحرة الأمر وقصت شعر ربانزل. في المرة التالية التي جاء فيها الأمير إلى البرج، كانت الساحرة هناك. حاربها الأمير وقتلها وأخذ ربانزل إلى قصره حيث تزوجا وعاشا في سعادة.
