يمكننا تعريف الإنترنت على أنه شبكة واسعة تربط أجهزة الكمبيوتر في جميع أنحاء العالم، وتتيح للأشخاص مشاركة المعلومات من خلالها والتواصل مع بعضهم البعض، ويمكنك أيضاً التسوق عن طريق الإنترنت، لذلك فإنه يعد أعظم اختراع صنعته البشرية لما يحمله من الفائدة للناس من جميع الأعمار. كما أنه نعمة للطلاب والمعلمين أيضاً.

One advantage of the internet is that students can use it for research. Learning has never been easier. Another positive aspect of the internet is that people can practice foreign languages by chatting with foreign friends from all over the globe. It has improved our communication system. It is also the best way to keep in touch with friends and family around the world. It has made the world a global village.

تتمثل إحدى ميزات الإنترنت في أنه يمكن للطلاب استخدامه في البحث، ما جعل التعلم الآن أسهل من ذي قبل. بالإضافة إلى إمكانية التدرب على اللغات الأجنبية من خلال التواصل مع الأصدقاء من جميع أنحاء العالم، وأدى إلى تحسين نظام الاتصال لدينا، وأصبح وسيلة التواصل الأفضل مع الأصدقاء والعائلة حول العالم. لقد جعل الانترنت العالم بأسره قرية صغيرة.

However, we need to know that the Internet is a double-edged sword. It has the potential to be beneficial to us, but at the same time, it can negatively affect us if we are not careful. It has many negative aspects, such as procrastination and internet addiction. Moreover, the Internet can host many illegal activities.

مع ذلك، نحتاج إلى معرفة أن الإنترنت سلاح ذو حدين. على الرغم من أنه يقدم لنا ميزات عديدة ولكن في نفس الوقت يمكن أن يؤثر بشكل سلبي علينا إذا لم نتوخَ الحذر، إذ له العديد من الجوانب السلبية أيضاً، فقد يسبب التسويف وإدمان الإنترنت، وعلاوة على ذلك فإنه يشكل بيئة حاضنة للعديد من الأنشطة غير القانونية.

There is no doubt that the internet has made our lives easier and more convenient. However, the internet is a mixed blessing. As much as the internet spreads knowledge and understanding around the world, it also provides endless opportunities to waste time and develop unhealthy habits. Hence, one should be careful when using the internet and not turn such a great invention into a tool of harm to humanity.

لا شك أن الإنترنت جعل حياتنا أسهل وأكثر راحة، ولكنه نعمة ونقمة في الوقت ذاته. بقدر ما ينشر الإنترنت من معرفة وإدراك حول العالم، فإنه يوفر أيضاً فرصاً لا تنتهي لإضاعة الوقت واكتساب عادات غير صحية. لذلك يجب على المرء أن يتوخى الحذر عند استخدام الإنترنت، وألا يجعل من هذا الاختراع العظيم أداة ذات ضرر للإنسانية.
