القراءة واحدة من أكثر الهوايات منفعةً وتأثيراً على كل الأعمار. في هذا الموضوع، سأخبركم عن فوائد القراءة.
On one hand, reading is more like travelling to other countries and places without really changing places. When you open a book, it is like being introduced to new worlds, cultures, and sometimes languages. It is your chance to explore a whole new atmosphere. Second, reading teaches you a lot. You read about other people’s stories and experiences; some of them are extraordinary people you would never meet in your everyday life. Those people usually experience unique situations and adventures and deal with them in unusual ways, so they are considered teachers who teach you how to think outside the box.
من ناحية، القراءة أشبه بالسفر إلى أماكن وبلاد أخرى من دون تغيير المكان فعلياً. عندما تفتح كتاباً، فكأنك تتعرف إلى عوالم وثقافات وأحياناً لغات جديدة. إنها فرصتك لاستكشاف أجواء جديدة تماماً. ثانياً، تعلّمك القراءة الكثير. إذ تقرأ حول قصص وتجارب الآخرين، بعضهم أشخاص استثنائيين لا تتسنى لك الفرصة لمقابلتهم في حياتك اليومية. عادةً ما يختبر هؤلاء الناس مواقف ومغامرات فريدة، ويتعاملون معها بطرق غير مألوفة، لذلك يمكن اعتبارهم معلمين يعلمونك كيفية التفكير بطريقة خارجة عن المألوف.
Reading also improves your mental imagery. Studies have proven that consistent reading plays an important role in improving your brain health and makes you an imaginative person . Because the entire story and characters are nothing more than words on paper, you must make an effort to imagine scenes, locations, and characters. It is more like directing a whole movie in your head. On the other hand, reading turns you into a compassionate and sympathetic person. It offers a chance to understand how others think and feel because some novels study and depict the deep psychological aspects of human beings.
كما تطور القراءة من مخيلتك. أثبتت الدراسات أن القراءة المستمرة تلعب دوراً مهماً في تحسين صحتك الذهنية، وفي خلق شخص مبدع. بما أن القصة والشخصيات كلها ليست أكثر من حبر على ورق، عليك أن تبذل جهداً في تخيل المشاهد، والأماكن، والشخصيات. الأمر أشبه بإخراج فيلم كامل في عقلك. من ناحية أخرى، تحولك القراءة إلى شخص حنون ومتعاطف، إذ تقدم لك فرصة لفهم كيف يفكر الآخرون وكيف يشعرون، لأن بعض الروايات تدرس وتصور جوانب نفسية عميقة من الإنسان.
I believe the most important advantage of reading is improving your language. Reading enriches and expands your vocabulary. It helps you develop a unique writing style and express your thoughts and feelings in the best way possible. People who read regularly have more developed linguistic abilities from a young age. Another significant benefit of reading is that it reduces stress and muscle tension. Studies have revealed that consistent reading creates a relaxed and calm person. Reading also makes time travel available. Some books were written thousands of years ago and depict those times in detail, such as architecture, clothes, and traditions.
أعتقد أن الميزة الأهم للقراءة هي تطوير اللغة. تغني القراءة مفرداتك وتوسعها، كما تساعدك على تطوير أسلوب فريد في أثناء الكتابة والتعبير عن مشاعرك وأفكارك في أفضل طريقة ممكنة. يبدو أن من يقرأون بصورة دائمة يظهرون قدرات لغوية أكثر تطوراً منذ سن مبكرة. يُعتبر تخفيف التوتر وإراحة العضلات من ميزات القراءة الأخرى. أظهرت الدراسات أن القراءة المستمرة تخلق شخصاً هادئاً ومسترخياً. كما تتيح السفر عبر الزمن، إذ كتبت بعض الكتب منذ آلاف السنين، وتصور تلك الحقب الزمنية بالتفصيل الممل، مثل العمارة، والملابس، والتقاليد.
